EZwill™ was created by Adv. Miriam Shatsky, an Israel-licensed attorney specializing in the field of Wills & Estates and planning for aging.

Born in the US, Adv. Shatsky was raised and educated in Israel.

Adv. Shatsky graduated from Bar Ilan University (L.L.B) in 2006, became a member of the Israel Bar Association in 2007, and established her private practice in 2013.

In 2018, Adv. Shatsky became a certified Israeli notary and received certification to prepare Enduring Powers of Attorney.

Along with managing EZwill™, Adv. Shatsky maintains her legal practice in Raanana.

My goal was to create an affordable, easy-to-use, accessible way for anyone who needs a will in Israel to create one, at their own pace and on their own schedule.

I am proud to have created EZwill™ to fulfill this purpose.

What inspired the creation of EZwill?

In two words: Affordability and Accessibilty.

Working with dozens of clients who pushed off writing their Wills for years, we realized that there are stumbling blocks getting in the way for so many people. For some it’s the cost. For others it’s the hesitation of going to a lawyer’s office, not knowing who to trust, or just plain busyness of everyday life.

EZwill™ is a unique service that was built with these concerns in mind, to serve people like you.

How can I be sure EZwill™ is right for me?

EZwill™ aims to offer several options, all customizable, which would be suitable for most people in most situations.

However, we do not recommend using EZwill™ in any of the following situations:

  1. If you do not wish to include your spouse or any one of your children in your Will;
  2. If you believe there is a reasonable chance that your Will may be contested (i.e., that someone would object to it);
  3. If you and your spouse have significantly different wishes for each of your Wills;
  4. If you own many assets (real estate, corporations / businesses) in Israel or abroad and would require complex or delicate planning or require tax advice;
  5. If answering an online form and navigating the system on your own is too challenging for you. (NOTE: If other family members assist you in creating the Will, this may legally disqualify them from inheriting you).

In any of the above cases, we suggest you consult with an attorney  to come up with an appropriate personalized solution. You can email us at info@ezwill.co.il, or click below to schedule an introductory consultation.
